Both
the Church and the Family are instituted by God. Both are equally under the
ferocious assault of Satan. The culture and the world we live in are in
opposition to the family. Broken marriages, estranged parent-child relations,
pre-marital sex, abortion, and other heart-breaking tragedies are occurring more
in today’s family.
The
Living Way Church is seriously dedicated to building and equipping the family
for today’s challenges. We are champions of families. We set the church’s
ministry agenda with the family clearly in mind. We seek to raise up the family
to be all that it can be in Christ. The spiritual and emotional health of our
families are clear indicators of the overall health of the church. As go our
families, so goes our church.
Families
need a lot of prayers. We will pray with and pray for the families in The Living
Way. However, our key strategy is to enable families to build a strong family
altar, a daily family devotion, where the husband and the father of the
household truly rise up and be God’s man of the hour.
