Loving Relationship

  Genuine and practical love for one another, deeply committed to caring and trusting relationships, generous in encouragement, forgiving, compassionate, and accepting

We are related to one another in three aspects. First, we are one family in Christ. Second, we are one family in the local church. Third, we are one family in covenant friendship. Our relationship is a reality, but it must be maintained and developed through fellowship.

There are some families that the members do not relate to each other. So in similar manners, there are church families that the members do not relate to each other. In some cases, they relate to each other only on the basis of work or ministry needs. Beyond the working or ministry relationship, there is no meaningful interaction or concern for one another.

The Living Way treasures our relationship as a family. We believe that all of us play a part in the outworking of that relationship through loving concern, visiting one another, spending time together, serving one another, etc.

Don’t wait for others to start. You can initiate a conversation with someone you don’t really know so well. Take time and make time to invite one another for meals or outings. Build the relationship, invest in love. It reaps a reward of eternal friendship and family relationship
