Rev Joseph Tan was called by the Lord to full-time ministry in 1985 when he was still in the National Service. The Lord did such a deep work that upon completion of the National Service, he gave up his place in the National University of Singapore and instead enrolled himself in the bible school. He graduated with a B.A. in Theology and subsequently M.A. in Pastoral Leadership.

Apart from pastoral ministry in the local church since 1987, Pastor Joseph spent almost three years in Taiwan as a missions pastor. He also served for three years in the Pacific Island of Palau as an On-Air Minister, preaching the gospel to China through powerful short-wave radio broadcast. Being effectively bilingual, he preaches and teaches effectively in both English and Mandarin. 

The Lord has also taken him to many missions trips in the Asia Pacific region: Japan, Philippines, China, Australia, New Zealand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Guam, Tonga, Marshall Islands, etc.

Pastor Joseph is married to Pastor Eileen and they have two boys: Barnabas (14 years old) and Elijah (9 years old). Pastor Eileen runs the children program of the church – King’s Kids as well as the youth group. She also helps with the administrative needs of the church. She is very much loved by the members for her love and care in counseling.

Rev Pauline Chng was pursuing a successful career in accountancy for many years. After two missions trips to Philippines and Hong Kong in 1985 and 1986, she realized that the Lord has called her into full-time ministry. After a period of preparation and equipping, she began pastoring a Cantonese congregation in 1989. Four years later, she became the pastor of a Hokkien congregation for almost ten years. She has also been leading a Mandarin congregation for a number of years till now. Through her years of pastoral experience and being an effective communicator of the gospel in Mandarin, Cantonese and Hokkien, she is greatly used by the Lord to minister to the Chinese speaking.

Pastor Pauline has a B.A. in Theology and is in the process of completing a M.A. in Pastoral Leadership.
